My wife is in Guatemala and I was expecting the package to leave Mississauga to Mexico City since as far as I know they process the request for Central America. The letter states that the file is being forwarded to Guatemala... I hope the average processing time is similar to the Mexico (17 Months).
Please let me know if you are aware of changes that I am not.

That's a surprise that they would send it to Guatemala as Mexico normally does process applications coming from Guatemala. You will have a better idea once you receive AOR2 as it will indicate where it is being processed.
