What to expect next after AOR2 would be request for additional documents followed by passport request or interview. From what I've been reading in this forum.. It would take 3-5 months from AOR2 to Decision Made..

Awesome congrats to you guys.. Soon y'all will be together in Canada.. We are super happy for you guys..

Can I ask a quick question.. How did you guys applied for the visitor visa? Was it online or at a vac or vfs office.. ?

It was processed by the Mexico VO.
We had to use the Visa Application Centre in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic to send and receive the passport. When Mexico requested his passport to issue the visitor visa, they instructed us to go there for the passport

Is it normal to request the medical after the interview?? Just curious, I am still waiting myself and don't know much about the entire process!

I think if Mexico is the visa office that your permanent residence application is being handled by, then yes I am pretty sure they also do the visitor visa

When did your medical expire?
my husband's medical expired in December, they didnt ask him to redo it until he was approved after his interview.
I would think if they are asking to redo the medical now, then that's a good sign that maybe your process is getting close to the end of the process

His medical expired in January and they requested a new one last Tuesday. I sent it on Friday. I assume they will ask for a police check next??
