omg. I honestly could not imagine. I'm sorry you have to go through that!!!! Thats my worst fear. Not necessarily saying the marriage is fake but being declined and having to appeal!

I still pinch myself from time to time. Yep ! its still me ! (wait times for appeal in Toronto is 28 months)

I learned the hard way:

""what wont kill you will make you stronger""

Best wishes 8)

Was there anything in particular that resulted in them reaching the conclusion that your relationship was not genuine? In our case my concern is our age difference. Hopefully the documentation we provided will suffice in proving that ours is a genuine and continuing relationship!

sorry. I have to comment.

Try having the lunatics tell you your relationship is not genuine. Then you have to appeal. 5 years in total for us. THAT IS PAIN !

:o

Wow, sorry to hear, I can't even imagine how stressful, frustrating and expensive that must have been. Good for you and your spouse for staying together, I've heard lots of stories of people getting divorced throughout this process because of living apart for too long and/or the stress.
All the best to you :)

A small ray of hope for some Mexican PR applicants separated from their loved ones...

Congrats!! Finally, a sign of life from MCVO!! Hopefully others patiently waiting will get AOR2 notification soon!

Best wishes for a successful and quick result!

Just a comment for all the folks just starting this process. The best way to track where you are is the spreadsheet (thanks to Canzanillo, the mexico VO one is fantastic). Ecas is a useless tool, case in point; ours has said application received until just this week... we received PPR this week, and it has just now been changed to in process, stating the date of June 5, 2015 (yesterday) even though we are at the end of the line and a decision has been made. So check it once and a while, but if other peoples get updated and yours doesn't, don't panic.

Congrats!! :) hopefully everyone will start receiving AOR 2 soon. I've been "analyzing" the spreadsheet and it appears as they just stopped sending AoRs. Maybe they're dealing with the December backlog or maybe -I have a theory lol - they're working in the skilled worker applications. I've been seeing a lot of movement from a skilled worker forum. They work in these applications from time to time (not continously), so maybe when they stop once again, they'll resume their work with our applications.

I can't wait for the time when you guys receive yours AORs, I'm not still there yet but that would give us all hope :)

I tend to agree with you Luna21. They must be working on something else cause they sure aren't working on family class applications ;)

I think they actually start working on your application when you get AOR 2. But you're very close to get it as well as CANzanillo :)

Wait... What? 3 months to get to Mexico? I hadn't quite read through. Now this is suspicious :D. When did you get SA? Did you get an email from Mexico or they told you this over the phone?

Hello everybody!!!

Is the first time I write in a forum, this situation of the canadian PR makes me crazy and I read and read to find out whats going on.

I sent my application on December 24, 2014, My husband has been approved as sponsor in March 2015 and now I see a line saying the Medical Exams has been received since April 2015, I sent an email to the Mexican Embassy , where my files from outside Canada is being processed but they say haven't receive my papers yet. I am wondering how long time is this going to take to get my PR. Does any one from Mexico around?

I appreciate all the info you can share and wish a good luck to everybody!!!

:D
