I dont think it reduces it by two months, it doesnt seem like it by what ive seen anyways
if you dont pay it delays you by up to two months though, but if you pay all up front it should just stay within the average processing time.

Ohhhh wooooow! I really hope this strike doesn't last long. What does that mean for your hubby getting his visa?

Hey guys I talk to a guy who called the embassy today here in Mexico and didnt work today cuz is a holiday and they never mention anything about the strike :S I hope is over already !

Today is a holiday in Canada it's Victoria day. I hope the strike is over! Grrrr

I know for sure it hasnt been sent back yet. Cuz we have the dhl tracking number and nothing has showed up yet.

Yeah the embassy has a holiday today too. They go back to work tomorrow.

The embassy website doesnt say anything about a strike either. Well it didnt last week when i checked.
Not sure if it does now or not

Fingers crossed tomorrow they all go back to work and everything is good!!
