Timeline:

App received on May 4th
SA on June 23rd
3rd line on eCAS: ''We started processing your application on July 15th''
AOR2 Mexico August 17th

My AOR2 was in May 4. And I dont heard anything about them since AOR2.. I dont know if is a bad signal or what...

Hi CanaHn!

I'm the sponsor, my partner is the PA and is from Chile, which is a visa-exempt country. Maybe that's why it was a bit faster, or maybe because the VOs are really working on the backlog as CIC announced back in June.

I hope everyone has a faster processing!

It does make a difference when the PA is from a Visa exempt country! I have notice that those go a bit faster

3rd line added to Ecas today on PA side, stating they started processing PA application on aug 15th. Going by the timelines AOR2 would come in 3-4 weeks, hopefully.

I have a strong feeling they are processing applications in batches and not according to "move forward" dates.

how long after you recieve the ppr does it take for your passport to come back. i recieved my ppr Aug 15 and sent it off Aug 18 i confirmed that immigration has received it Aug 18 ???

As per the Mexico spreadsheet it is an average of 15 days

Finally next step has been approved. Just got news I've been approved as sponsor now application will be sent to Mexico.
