No one is getting PPR from Mexico ? come on , MXVO is processing applications from over 15 countries , It should be at least a couple of PPRs every day .
my only hope is that most MXVO Applicants are not posting in this Forum and are getting PPRs on a daily basis .

Does Mexico work on each country separate or all together? Does it matter which country you are from? It's crazy to me how they process all different countries like this, no wonder it takes so long!

I think they process application by the order they receive them from Mississauga regardless of the country of the Applicant .

This is what i wonder, because I have seen people get PPR in 6-8 months and I've been waiting a year already, don't get me wrong I don't mind going on a tropical vacation every 2-3 months, but it will be nice to be home with my husband saving money!

have they asked you for any additional information since your file transferred to Mexico ? Yes I have seen 6-9 months and also 1 year .
I think you are at the end of the tunnel and soon you'll see the light , I agree its good to visit Latin America one in a while ,( Mexico City in my case ) .
where is your husband from ? trying to figure out why some get it faster than others !!

Yes I was requested the schedule a and birth certificate and this will be 4 weeks since asked for a re medical. I think we're nearing the end as well. He is from the Dominican Republic, not sure why the times vary! I know it will be worth the wait once he is here!

I hope your partners interview went very well. Were they nice at the office? Did your partner get the visa and CoPR that same day? My husband is traveling to Mexico City for the interview next week, and it's hard to know if he will need to stay for another couple of days there to pick up the Visa or if he will get it the same day. They did ask for him to bring the passport though.

One thing I have noticed is that when PPR's are issued they ask for 2 passport sized photos, but in my husbands case - they did not ask him to bring photos to the interview... do they have a camera there I wonder?

I am still super nervous but try not to think about it too much.

Well, got some bad news, my partner went to the interview and I went as well, but they didn't let me in.

We applied under the conjugal partner category but got rejected only because we haven't got married, the officer didn't had doubts that our relationship is genuine but questioned why we haven't got married.

So now we are getting married soon, but don't know if we should appeal and send the marriage certificate or if we have to submit a new application.

It's hard since all you know this process can be stressful.

I wish you all the best of luck!

I'll keep you posted any decision we take.

And if anyone can help us with any advice, it will be truly appreciated.

you haven't heard anything yet? have they acknowledged that you guys sent the stuff they requested?
it has only been 3 weeks since my husband's interview, but it has been the longest wait! Mexico received the extra information they requested from him, I hope we hear something soon.

Yes I recieved the auto reply message and another message that the recieved the documents.. Just a waiting game now! I was told it would probably be between 4-8 weeks until I hear anything, and this is going on 4 weeks. Let me know when you get your passport back! I am curious how long it takes after PPR and the wait should almost be over for you thank god

we still haven't even be asked for the passport.. they told him to bring it to his interview, but they didn't take it. they said he needed to redo the medical and all that and then they would request it.
We sent the updated police clearance and a copy of the medical receipt, but haven't even received anything that they received it.
I guess it will be a while before anything happnes...

I thought you sent the passport too!! They wouldn't let you scan and email those documents? I supposed they wanted an original copy of the police clearance...

Nope, we emailed asking if we could send the passport with the documents and they said no.. you have to wait until we request the passport.

No kidding, plus to get it sent to Mexico! That's gotta be expensive. I'm sure the same will happen to me too! His police clearance is expired too. I guess I could have mentioned I waited over a week after they received my email before they told me they had it.. So don't worry too much yet!

which courier did you use?? I don't think anybody realizes all of the additional costs after paying the original fee!
