Hey Costarcro, I think I saw you leaving DF with your husband, I took the aeromexico flight on the same night as you (I believe) and you both looked very happy, you were taking a picture of him when he entered the gate and it gave me a little bit of hope for my situation!costacro said:Thank you!!!! Words cant describe the feeling of finally having him home. Hope you get good news soon!
Yes. I don't think it's unusual that the status sits with "Documents Received". My wife's case has been the same since last November.Nell1236 said:Our ECAS hasn't been updated from "documents received" for months. Does anyone know of any other way to get information from a web site? Is this usual? It hasn't changed since July, even though we received AOR in June.
If it's true that calling them or having our MPs contact them causes slower work then I don't want to do that.

I'm glad to see people's cases are getting resolved
Ah well, that's even better it means a lot of people are getting approved to come in to Canadacostacro said:No i dont think that was us. We were waiting in canada for him and he came from costa rica not DF
If I recall correctly, your file was on 'the interview rack' or something like that, and you say your bring forward date was sept 9th?Frida19 said:I have been waiting to hear from them , they review my file on september 9th and after that no news nothing , Im going crazy according to our MP i have to go in for an interview but they havent even set a date for that either its taking sooo damn long !!! :'( they should at least tell us wats going on wit our application.....
According to our MP they had already review our file that's when they decided an interview was require which I have no idea why is our first marriage from both of us , no kids , no ex husband/wife , we send proof of our relationship we been together for almost 3 years and married for 1 year :s but it will be awesome if at last minute they decided I don't have to go to the interview anymore lol are you done with the process .?? & how can I order my GCMS notes ?scrls5 said:If I recall correctly, your file was on 'the interview rack' or something like that, and you say your bring forward date was sept 9th?
Maybe when they reviewed your file they decided not to call your for an interview
You could order your GCMS notes (again if you already have done so) and it will give you more info on to what happened when they reviewed it on sept 9th
worth the try
Maybe it was us. My wife and I left Mexico city on October 12th, in an aeromexico flight. She took a few pictures of me with my passport before boarding the plane.nzk0 said:Ah well, that's even better it means a lot of people are getting approved to come in to Canada
