looks like strike is finally over, so I hope our application also gets finalized soon.. We applied 2012 August, is there anybody who applied earlier than us? I am feeling that our application have been left and forgotten, but I'm still just waiting since official processing time is 14 months.
I hope they catch up soon!

We sent our app in august 2012 as well. Have you ever contacted mexico vo to check if your app is in process

Thanks, costacro. That makes me feel better. I don't understand why it would take a month but, if that seems to be the norm with everyone, I'll take it. I guess I am trying to force an AOR out of them because I'm so anxious that something is going to get lost or go wrong and I'm trying to stay on top of it but, there's only so much I can do, obviously. If I don't hear anything in the next two weeks, I guess I'll try again.

I'm in the same situation, its been a month since we got SA and this not knowing what's going on with our file sometimes drives me crazy, like you say I just want to know if they got it, so I know everything is going fine and nothing got lost.

I have seen other VO's already sent AOR by email to the applicants, really I wish I could have one of those ;D.

I think you are just a week ahead of me or something, so I hope we hear from them soon, I sent them the waybill too. The strike it's over and I see so much going on around here, so we should be next. Good luck

After 4 months of hard work my husband and me will send our application I'm so happy ;D I would like to ask you something, if I cannot ask for the PGR letter in this moment what do I have to put in the check list NA or I have to let it empty? Please We hope to sent it on Monday Thanks all of u! Love u so much!

Congrats I know it's an amazing feeling just to know you are going at least to be on the way one you send your app.

I just didn't mark that in the check list because they know it can be provided till they request it.

Yes, we received AOR in the end of March. then we sent some updates on our application as they requested. We had done medical in advance in last August.
ECAS never changed from "We received an application on November". We sent some emails but we only got reply once that says "we have everything needed. just be patient" kind of thing..
I was thinking of making a phone call in October as they mentioned 6 months process from the AOR date.

Well its nothing out of the ordinary. In february we recived Aor and ppr in september so it was 7 months. Yeah i have received emails from them with the same content. Hang in there patience is key.

I sent my police cert about a month ago, how long do you thing they would contact me?

We received our AOR in June along with a request for the police certificate and a bit more address information. So if you only sent your information a month ago, you will likely have to wait longer.

Yes, the strike is over. Great news for all of us. There was 2 PPR's yesterday so, they are working over there. The PGR request letter that you received was your AOR. They wouldn't send that to you unless the had your file so, you're fine. If you don't have to send in an ARC or get an interview request, I'd say you're pretty close to the end of the process. Good luck!
