He just said there wasn’t anything he could do. He said call back in a couple weeks and he’d send an email requesting status. That was all he said.

Id say your mp is useless then. They absolutely CAN help and reach out to ircc and get some info. Id push a little harder

On the fbook group there is a girl who waited 20 mths for no reasons and thats incl interview and getting passport back with the one entry visa in it...
So 12 mths can go over at times. Like us her hubby is dominican.

Me it took 10 months before i got my interview.
If u got pre arrival services maybe u dont even need an interview too! Lets hope. Interviews were just last week in DR, next ones aren’t until March or so

That is very annoying. But i think that if you guys got the pre-arrival it means that the PA passed the BGC, not necessarily the eligibility part of the process. The interview is for the latter, but after that is just PPR. The waiting and the lack of communication is what really bothers me in this whole process. You are in the last stage, so hopefully it will be over for your guys soon :)

I am following this thread as my hubby is from Central America and it LIKELY processes at Mexico VO (apparently) we haven't received AOR2 yet. Really interested to see how you all made out. I guess it is a super slow process with Mexico VO. I can't believe you had to do medicals twice.... it just cost us around $500 usd for the whole medicals stuff (he passed) but to make the trip, do the tests and all that it was quite pricy. This experience is unbelievable. As a Canadian citizen, I am starting to really resent those who illegally cross the Quebec border and get awarded hotel rooms. :( That seems so much easier than going through all this just because of where our PA's were born....

Going to MP today to sign papers for them to go forward with finding out what is going on!!! Fingers crossed we hear something positive this week.

I did that too... signed off for the MP to call this week. She has been wonderful. They really tried.

MP said that IRCC just asked "why didn't I submit the application sooner, if I wanted him here sooner".... o_O
(I began the application process the MOMENT we found out we were expecting)

MP said to me because 12 month mark hasn't passed yet, there's not much they can do.
I think I'm seriously going to start practicing meditation more often. :cool: That's the only thing that will help me, at this point.
 
May someone tell me which month's Mexico vo's is processing at the moment ? Have they started 2019 ? i'm still waiting for a transfer here...Having SA since March 30th...

I am Nov 2018... STILL AWAITING TRANSFER to Mexico.

Have you spoken with a CIC agent to confirm your file has not yet been transferred? I didn’t receive any info/letter saying my file was transferred but when I called them they said they couldn’t give me any info as my file had been transferred. Still to this day I haven’t been given any info that my file has been transferred but every time I call that’s what they tell me - it has been transferred to Mexico.
