Hey everyone,
We sent in our application for a Mexican Police check for our PR.
After doing some research, when you inquire about the status of the application after a week of receiving it, they will say it has been sent to the government to conduct the check. But after asking a second time (it's been 2 weeks) they reply with this,
This is to acknowledge reception of your request for a Mexican Police Certificate in our office.
Your document will be reviewed. If they are complete, they will be shortly sent to Mexican authorities. Processing time for a Mexican Police Certificate is from 30 to 60 business days. Results will be sent to the office in charge of your application directly.
In case your application is incomplete or mistaken, it will be returned to you by regular mail and new documents will be requested. A letter indicating the reasons why they were returned will be included.
Please note that due to the high volume of applications we receive in our office, we cannot provide you with personalized assistance or detailed information. We kindly request you to be patient and keep your correspondence to a minimum.
So my question is... do you think our application is being returned? And if they send it back via REGULAR mail in Mexico it will most likely be lost for sure. How do we know what to do when they have not given us any indication?
