Hello,

Super frustrated here!!! We just received a request for more documents. This is what it says:

REQUIRED DOCUMENTS: IRB Decision | Please provide the IRB reasons for decision and order (full
document)

Obviously they want to IRB decision (which I already included in our application package Argh! >:( ). But what do they mean about the order? My husbands removal order? Or something else?

Here is the vent (feel free to ignore this part): This is so frustrating!! I gave them the IRB decision already. They have given us 60 days to submit the docs. Which I believe that means they won't even look at the file now for 60 days from now (a bring forward date). Such an unnecessary delay!! :-[

Anyone have any thoughts?

I am thinking about doing a CSE and telling them that we already submitted the IRB decision. Would this help?

If the request came by email, why not just reply and ask for clarification?

Will they respond to an email? When you make a Case Specific Enquiry (CSE), there is a form you have to fill out.

When Manila requested additional docs for my wife's application, I was also confused. I replied to their email, asking for clarification, and they responded the next day. Give that a shot before you do the CSE and see what happens.

What docs did Manila ask for?

Appendix A and a new CBC.

In our doc request, Mexico City asked for 2 things that we sent in the original application; my husband's previous addresses and a copy of his passport data page. Someone over there is either not doing their job properly or they ask for random documents just for kicks. So irritating.
I would respond to the email and let them know that you already sent what they are asking for and maybe they should look in the application before asking for something they already have and to stop wasting time and just get to work finalizing. (Ok, not that last part but, I know how you feel.)

I will send an email. Maybe it will prevent this unnecessary delay! Wonder if there is a diplomatic way to say "we can't stand being separated much longer, get it together!!"...not that it will make a difference! Very irritating. Especially since this is the second doc request. The first was for the updated schedule A, back to the time my husband was 18, not just the last ten years (which in my opinion, the embassy is wrong, the form asks for the last 10 years, not since 18). What are they doing down there??

They asked us the exact same thing!! My lawyer told me the new version of the immigration Schedule A asks for "since 18" and not the last 10 years anymore so that's why they asked for this. Such a waste of time if you ask me.

Such a time waster! I wish I had known when we submitted the application to begin with! It would've been so easy to do it that in the first place!!
