Mexican Police report

hi All,

just wondering if anyone knows about the police report for Mexico, on the CIC website says that there are two kinds one is "carta de antecedentes no penales" and it also mention other letter that is issued by PGR, BUT when I checked the PGR website what I understood is that you can only get that with an embassy letter requesting you such letter........so my question is if "carta de antecedentes no penales" is enough and if embassy requieres the other letter will they let me know??

My understanding is that you send the state police report(s) with your medicals and application, the Federal police report you will get later and the embassy will contact you concerning it.

They asked ( the Embassy ) for the Federal ( PGR ) , i did my state one or Province one

so, then carta de antecedentes no penales is enogh, right?

did u get it from your state ? also if the applicant is from el DF , or Mexico City then u only need one.

yes, I got it from my state, Aguascalientes, and thats the one im including in the application
just wanted to make sure I am doing it right

yes , send it with your application and wait for The embassy to give you instructions on the federal one .
