hi forum mates,i just to ask a question, im waiting for my visa and a little bit nervous of the result,if the embassy will refuse or not, somebody told me if you have medical request already from the embassy, they already review your application and nothing to worry about, is it true? or when did the embasy review your application? before medical request or after the medical at st.lukes? hope that someone will answer my questions. thank you!

Just got a known friend.. she has lmo and other stuff.. but ubfortunately. When she stopped by and landed at canada. The canadian immigration did not grant her working permit even she has a visa and lmo.. i am very sorry for those applicants too with the same issues. She travelled 1stweek of may and automatically departed to Philippines due to working permit not granted to all food related.. i am very sorry for my friend.. just be cautious on your papers. Lmo doesnt mean you have already permitted.. they will validate you after you landed in canada... if there are questions on your lmo and visas make sure to contact recruitment specialists. How sad it happened to one of my friend.. i am just sharing true experience that can happen.. please seek to the mercan and or other specialist to provide you info. Thank you. If incase this will be a fallback to all aspiring tfw. So sad that they be more stricter once the suspension will be lifted.

Hi thebeasts. where is her port of entry? what company is she will be working? May I ask what' s the reason why immigration did not give her work permit? I am asking because I am about to fly this end of may. So nervous. :(

Did anyone experienced my status... Last year my visa was approved for quebec but my employer cancelled my contract .. So i had my another employer then my lmo and contract forwarded last april 2 , thus anyone knows if im still needing another medical referral from the embassy ? Since my agency told me i need to wait for medical referral , my medical was last Sept 16 its still valid ... And i was really confuse if my application is afftected by the moratorium?

hi what about those who already have letter of approval to work in canada and visa prior to the moratorium? are they affected?

It depends..doesn't mean you have approval letter you can enter canada, it depends to the IO at the POE and how you will answer their question
