Mentioning the public intoxication

I have started a discussion about the public intoxication ticket I received the other day.
Based on what I have been reading and researching; this is not a crime and a social fine something like a
Speeding ticket which goes under Liquor Act-provincial act. This is not a crime and I was not in jail or an inmate. Also this will not give me a criminal record and it will not even show in the criminal background check record. Should I mention this incident on a piece of paper let the Citizenship Judge and the Citizenship officer know or do not even mention it?

Lol dude are you for real????Like seriously you are asking same question over and over and over in different approach.

A golden tip which is priceless: ONLY TELL WHAT YOU ARE ASKED. This rule will take you a very long way. When this question DONT even exist then why would you answer????????????????? Yes be honest all the time but ONE CAN ONLY ANSWER A QUESTION HONESTLY IF THAT QUESTION IS ASKED RIGHT????

Well, it is a different question mate lol.
I just want to be honest when I fill out the application form and not do anything against the Citizenship Act as well as trigger the questionnaire. .

Ha ha ha ha dude please do answer the question which are not even asked and please type it in BOLD RED CAPITALS. Its just like a person mentioning speeding ticket/traffic tickets/parking infractions. But a person must do what makes them contempt so please ignore the sarcasm do what makes you contempt and peaceful.

You might want to contact a lawyer or a settlement worker to have them look over your application before sending it, so you can feel more confident that you have done everything correctly.

Yes I will do that. That's very good suggestion.
I do not think when I mention the fact, they will not reject my citizenship application.

I have a similar situation. I am not PR and I recieve the ticket in ontario. Can someone please advice on the following...

I was arrested for being intoxicated in a public place on a saturday night. I was put in a drunk tank (sober cell) for 6 hours and was released in the morning with $65 ticket under section 31(4) of liquor licence act of Ontario (which comes under provincial offences act). I checked with criminal lawyers, they said it is not a criminal offence. Now I am applying my PR application under CEC category, I want to know will it affect my PR application ?

Also, what should I answer for the following two questions in "Schedule A - Background Declaration [IMM 5669]" form:

1. have you ever been convicted of a crime or offence in Canada for which a pardon has not been granted under the Criminal Records Act of Canada ?

2. have you ever been detained, incarcerated, or put in jail ?

I am very much stressed out, please help.. Thanks a lot.

You weren't convicted in any crime so you don't need to mentioned it. Also you weren't in jail, you were in police custody to make you sober so that you can go home safely. Nothing to worry. If there is question have you ever been arrested, then you need to mentioned it also give explanation that because you were drunk and it is not crime.

It does not mention arrest. It does however ask whether you've been "detained, incarcerated or put in jail"
