i am from lahore pakistan.planning to do my masters in education from canada.i rad alot about neewfoundland but first hand information is more accurate than any articlee.i ve got 70%marks in my previous post graduate degree and got 102 marks in toefl ibt.actually i want to now abt NFL.how is climate,living conditions and enviornment in your city.living expenses etc.i am planning to come with my two kids and husband(if everything goes right with visa process).do u know anybody from pakistan who has come with family to your university.these informations mean a lot to me because i am going to choose university on these informations.pl if you can help me i will really appreciate it..

Dear Seniors,

I have got admission in Master in Engineering Management from Memorial. Also I have also applied in other universities and waiting for Dalhousie University(MEng Electrical Engineering), Windsor University( MEng Electrical Engineering), University of Alberta( Master in internetworking), Concordia University College of Alberta(Master in information security management).

I am electrical engineer with 2 years experience in Telecom Industry. My main priorities are PR and Job after studies.

1) What is reputation of Master in Engineering Management Course at Memorial?
2) What are job prospects & PR chances after studies in Memorial?

What do you suggest me? Should I apply for visa with Memorial letter or should I wait for acceptance from other universities and then decide which one to chose to apply for visa?

I Don't Know about Engineering Management,

But Masters in Inter-networking is Most Wanted Program These days as its specialized for Telecom Engineers.

Its the Same Program Offered in Concordia as Master in Information Security management.

Internetworking is Fast Program as its Course Based So its Great way to GET PR in Alberta

Electrical Engineering is Good but according People's Opinion They Say... It have less Jobs as Compared to Internetworking.

Just Apply for Visa on the LOA of Memorial University.. When you Get Visa and You Want to Change Ur University, Just Show that Offer Letter on Arrival, Immigration Officer will write that name in your Study Permit

Hello I just got offered in MUN last month at safety and Risk Engineering Graduate Diploma course. But I'm little bit confused about the acceptance letter they sent to me...Start date, End Date, Tuition fee, Bank Details nothing is mentioned there....From my point of view it is a general acceptance letter I got where others information are mentioned much than the course I've applied...Can you tell me did you get the same thing when you have applied?

I have also got accepted in the diploma in safety and risk engineering and i'm preparing to apply for the study permit soon.
The acceptance letter which i have received was in five pages, and in it they wrote the starting date of the program, the courses, the duration of the master degree not the diploma, but like you case they haven't mentioned any thing about the fees except that there are no scholarships.

I have also got admitted in graduate diploma for safety & risk engineering for this year fall intake.Admission offer letter don't have explicit details but links are given so i think there shouldnt be nay problem with the content of letter.

Do you know anybody got the study permit based on a PGDip program and has a bachelor degree?, because i have heard that it's too hard if you have a bachelor degree. Also are you planning to pay the fees of the first semester before applying for the study permit to make your file stronger?

Duration:Graduate diploma, MASc, MEng: 1-2 years
what i understand based on this and based on the number of courses written in the acceptance letter (6) this program normally students finish it in 1 year but it could be extended to two years. But for the tuition fees, Based on this pdf (w ww.mun.ca/sgs/MinimumExpense.pdf) which should be printed and applied with the acceptance letter that you have to pay the tuition of 9 semesters with 420$ fee of each semester Regardless of the period in which you finished the program.

Hi everybody.

I have completed my Bachelors in Pharmacy from India with a CGPA of 8.1/10. I have 8 bands in IELTS. I have been in canada from January 2013 and I have completed a course called Chemical Laboratory Technician from Seneca with GPA of 3.9 out of 4. I applies for master in Pharmacy in UOFT, MUN, Waterloo and Dalhousie. I cleared the interview in UOFt. The process has stopped everywhere in securing a supervisor. Becuase my program is funded, and being an international student it is too costly for the universities to fund me. However, I have secured funding in Memorial.
I have many questions, I am listing it in a sequence.

1> Should I wait for acceptance from other universities?
2> Should I go for studies after getting a PR?
3> However to get a PR, I would require a job in my field, it is too tough to get a job, so that is not an option!
4> How can I get more funding? and on-campus job?
