Meet Eligibility Requirements

As a reply to a webform I filled regarding my application, I got yesterday the below email reply from IRCC:

• "The responsible office has determined that your application meets the eligibility requirements under the immigration program for which you have applied,
  • you may be contacted via your account if additional information is needed."

My application has not been updated, and is still showing "We are reviewing whether you meet the eligibility requirements."

What does the email mean (since it differs from the application)? Did I pass the eligibility and it is a matter of time till my account is updated? or is there an additional level of evaluation for the eligibility?

And what is the expected time to see an update in the application since the receipt of such email?

I believe the 'Eligibility' status will change once IRCC renders a decision on your application. This happens towards the end of the process.

Processing times vary and is usually case-dependent. Because of COVID-19, the processing times might be longer than usual.

I was just wondering if you received you pr.

I am in the same boat. My application is showing "we are reviewing whether you meet the eligibility requirements".

If you got the PR already, I would like to know if this message was appearing all the way until the end of your process or if you saw any updates during the process.
