On 21 sep 11. Visa office ask for Canadian pcc with
Fingerprints. I done electronic fingerprints on 25 oct 11
Rcmp Canadian police. Send my pcc certificate on 27 oct
By regular mail

Now wAting for ppr

I m in Regina saskchwan. Right now m working
For a. Italian restaurant as head cook in Regina.
Pay rate is very less compare to Australia.
Here pay rates are. $14 to 20.
We can find job easily in hospitality sector.

In a Italian and japnesse rsturants.
I apply for job offer online I had interview with so many
Employers And at last I got job offer letter.

I don't Wana move to Canada. But u know in Australia pr is very difficult. I am wAting for

I have submitted my medicals in the end of October 2011 in Sydney. "Medical have been recieved" line added to ecas on 16 Nov 2011. Waiting for next step.

puniajs, thanks for the input. As you are already in Canada, could you please elborate more about job scenario for survival and which province is better? If the wages are low comparative to Australian then how are the expences. How is the life in comparison to Australia? I am asking too much, but curious to know. You hav already experienced both countries so you can explain best. Thanks and Regards

Yeah I experience both countries. Both contries are good.
In Australia pay rates are high and expenses are also high. Like rent groceries
In Canada. Expences are less

If we have skill it's very easy to find job in hospitality. Right now m in Regina saskchwan
This provision is growing very fast. And so many opportunities for work

Weather is also another concern. Compare to Australia. Right now temperature in - 17 Here in Regina
Life is same as Australia. But. In Australia we have more opportunities.

Jas Thanks for the prompt reply. Yes, australia has more opporetunities. As per my experience in Australia, there are many jobs a person can do but jobs as per the skills are difficult, for example I know many people those are software engineers or Mechanical/civil engineers, could not find jobs in their field after even two years of their arrival in sydney, now they are doing factory jobs or driving taxi. There is no big difference of income bet a Taxi Drvr, Courier driver or engineer, therefore they have not persued their career in their fields now, they are happy with the income. Even I also recruit staff for my company(Factory jobs) and we are always looking for people in need of job hence as per my experience there are plenty of survival resources available in Au.

As you know after change in PR rules it is difficult to get settled in Au, Au gov also not certain about the policies they keep on changing and we are caught in very wrong time. Before Au was the easiest country to migrate.

In regards to Canada, how is the availability of other jobs if you do not get jobs in your field as I mentioned above about Au.My intended destintion is Calgary, Sasktoon is another consideration as I have heard that there are lots of oppotrunities. Could you please spare some time to elaborate more.

Really appreciate for your views....you said in your previous reply - 'But In Australia we have more opportunities" do you want to say that in Australia there so many casual, on call work, events work are available around the year for example in Melbourne but in Canada...no chance?

Are there trend of Casual and on call work etc. in your place and have you heard about other states....

Sorry, but as Time2011 say, only you can through some light about the difference in Canada and Aus....and help to clarify so many things....which are killing us day by day because of uncertainity....

As I'm Cook / Chef by profession and working in Melbourne from the past 4 years and my hubby is Human Resource / Business management professional...its very difficult for us to decide that which Canadian state we should settle down.....because I have noticed that for Hospitality professional chance are good in other states, except - Ontario and BC, but opposite for my hubby's profession jobs are more in Toronto (Ontario) and Vancouver (BC).....still confuse...

Its really good that you haven't spend any $$ for job offer and got the offer by your luck and hard work....

as i mentioned ealier there are more job oppurtunties in hospitality sector . i only have knowlege bout saskchwan and alberta . i know so many peoples who are working in hotels and resturants

other thing bout casual or on call jobs . in asutralia we have so many opputunities due to big cities.
here in canada same we can get casual jobs and on call jobs in big cities like calgery , tororto .etc . i am im small town regina here also so many fairs nd sports events happen and they need empoyees for hospitality and other stuffs but i havent work yet for that events coz m bound with my employer due to work permit

you are right its very hard these days to ger permant residence for au

yes im my place some time trades or fairs happen in town my resturant provides services .
yes here we have so many survival jobs like au . i know personalyy so many guys who aare professionals but not make to get job in their sectors. now driving taxi .or operate samll buisness or work im mines or facotories but they are happy wat ever they are earning
ya calagey is good city to get jobs . even saskatoon is growing very fast i been there several times
there are so many oppertunities in hospitality.
i am a pnp applicant thats why i am in small town when ever i finsh my bounded time line here i wana move to victoria
