Medicals submitted February 2010, Waiting for PPR

Hello buddies.

This is a post for anyone who completed his/her medicals in the of February 2010 but awaiting PPR call from his/her visa office.

My medicals was sent by DMP on the 24th February 2010.

When can one reasonably expect CHC to call for PPR?

I completed my medicals as similar timeline to yours and still waiting for PPR....Which visa office are you dealing with? I am with New York office.

I submitted my medical last Feb 8, till now no reply yet. Just like to inform others especially Filipinos waiting for passport request, try to make a machine readable passport if you dont have one. They are requiring it. It will take 6 weeks to request a new one at Philippine embassy here in UAE.

We too are waiting for PPR, had the medical lat week of Feb. Are you sure that they will ask for readable passport..ours the old one will expired on Dec 2010. So, do you think we will be requiring to have the new one/readable one. Thanks.

I would advice you to obtain the new machine readable/digitized passport just in case CHC request for it. Obtaining one now might eventually eliminate delay going forward.

Completed my medicals last week of February, also waiting for Passport request. I am with Visa Office in Manila.

Caloy, you should change your passport to the machine readable one. It is stated in the letter the Visa Office sent to us together with the medical request.
