Medicals Still Pending, But BGC is showing in progress

Hi,

I’ve submitted my PR application for skilled labor on oct-19-2018. Ever since then My medical is saying that it is still under review. But today while I was checking my application My Background status says: We are processing your background check. We will send you a message if we need more information. According to limited knowledge this will happen only after Medical is Passed. Don’t know what is the status of my application. I’ve mailed a month back to check what is happening with my medicals, as it is pending for a while. They’ve responded saying that everything is in place and they will contact me if required.

Review of medical results We are reviewing the results of your medical exam. Help - Review of medical results
Review of additional documents We do not need additional documents. Help - Review of additional documents
Interview You do not need an interview. We will send you a message if this changes. Help - Interview
Biometrics We do not need your fingerprints. We will send you a message if this changes. Help - Biometrics
Background check We are processing your background check. We will send you a message if we need more information. Help - Background check
Final decision Your application is in progress. We will send you a message once the final decision has been made.


Please help me understand my situation. I’m not sure when the background check change happened. I was only concentrating on medicals till day

Send a CSE and ask for your VO

call cic and ask them, if you are lucky to find a good agent he will tell you the exact position of yours file.
I was not lucky though.
I will call them next week again

Thank you. I've sent a CSE and tried calling cic too. But as i'm outside Canada the toll free number is not working

Thank you for the inputs, i was successful calling CIC and below was their response:

They have my medicals and they are still reviewing it. As they haven't asked for any additional documents ,I should not be worried

The Criminal clearance is done and security clearance hasn't started yet. (May I know how long it would take from this point)

My application is with Sydney, Nova Scotia. They said it may or may not go Local VO(as sometimes they try to process it within Canada)

They have my medicals and they are still reviewing it. As they haven't asked for any additional documents ,I should not be worried
