Hi, yes u r right, PP has to be sent to CHC London. On the average it takes 3-4 weeks to get back the PP. And on very alternative week, CHC London dispatches all the PPS to CHC Abu Dhabi, from where ARAMEX get involves and does the delivery by charging the applicants AED 100 as delivery charges.FFFF said:Guys;
I have a question. If CHC London requests for the passports, do they need to be sent to London? I mean do usually embassies like Canadian Embassy in Abu Dhabi act in lieu of London CHC. Now if this is not possible, how long usually it takes to receive back the passports from the day we send them. Please bear in mind that we the passports can be collected from the Embassy in Abu Dhabi. Appreciate answers from the seniors.....

FFFF said:Thanks SATDXB for your reply. Very clear answer. If this is the case, Is it possible that the passports can be handed directly at Abu Dhabi CHC before Courier gets involved? This definitely may help to shorten the duration.

Finally...we made it!!!! Got PPR thru' email yesterday...now got to work around gettin' the passports stamped as early as possible...can't afford to courier them due to the long time gap.
Any suggestions???
Hi Raan, just be sure that there should be at least 2 empty pages in ur PP for VISA stamping, whether machine readable or simple PP, that doesnt matters.RAAN said:hi friends
hi friends
does anybody know if our passport is not the machine-readable type, will it cause any delays at CHC London for visa-stamping? haven't sent our passports yet as had to get them renewed due to scarcity of pages in my family's passports.
i also read here about having to inform CHC London about all our travels? is it applicable even if the trip is related to work and made very frequently - say every two weeks - to the same country within the Middle East?
hi buddyFFFF said:Hello everyone,
I was requested by CHC London to send an updated PCC and schedule 1. The requested documents were sent few days back. I believe they have been received. I wonder how long it will take to get their response. Am I going to wait long time??? are they going to ask for another update???
