hi FFFF

No cause for worries.

If ur PCC is more than 10-11 months old there is always a chance for asking PCC from the present country of stay.

this is Good sign coz thy ask u to submit in 45 days - so ur file is in Priority. send the docs fast u wil get PPR also soon

Dear FFFF, I am also Sept. 2007 applicant, my Meds also were sent in Sept. 2010.
Probably, I will get the same kind of request, as my PCC-s are going to expire.
Please, can you answer, did London Office ask for only 1 updated Police Certificate- PCC from country of your present residence?
Or they wanted all PCC-s to be updated?

Hi, if they ask for PCC again , then it will be only CURRENT RESIDENCE COUNTRY PCC.

Cheers.

Hi Lina-Ida;
SATDXB is absolutely correct. They asked for updated PCC from the current country of residence (UAE in my case). I hope your case will be faster and to be issued the PPR without requesting PCC update. All the best.

Congratulation on getting the PPR. Yes you can do it. Someone can submit passports on your behalf without any additional documents. For collection the person must be carring his ID, Original reciept and Aurthority letter from You.
My brother in UK submitted my passports on my behalf and at time of submitting they lady who recieved the passports returned the authority letter as it was not required at that time. At the time of collection She asked for his ID, Original reciept and accepted "Authorize to represnt Form" as authority letter.

I hope it will help.

Regards,
KS
