Thanks for information... one more doubt did u send a mail or case specific enquiry to london for the update of ur address when u r planning to move india . If so how many days it took for u to get a reply from them.. because i am planning to give my indian address when i move to india. In what way i should proceed......

At the time of filling the address i have given them my india address only what i thought was i might leave london any time so its better to give india address only but i forgot to keep ND instead of London. You can mail them with your new contact address i don't know how much time they will take to update it and if you send an e-mail then they will be communicating through e-mail only i think you know better than me.Anyways I will inform you if i know anything new about this.

I'm also worried about this background check since my e-status shows "in process" that means they are checking all the documents we have provided I hope, but when I contacted my employer and my bank manager they told that they didn't got any call from London CHC till now and i have done my medicals in the month of june only and waiting for my new PCC from london which VO has asked for further processing.

While submitting my Documents my employer in the UK recvd an email letter asking them about my duties, job description, tenure of work, my relation with colleaugs, my wages, and so on. My employer didn't show it to me but discussed at great length about my future plans and did ask me if I wanted anything in particular to write. This was after submitting my documents in July 2009, and the email was recvd in September.

Thats what not my worry is, I am worried coz recently I recvd an email from CHC London about my query that I should wait until dec2010/jan2011 for the PPR. Now what should I make out of it? Is it all OK or there is something that I am unable to Understand.

Can you all who have recvd correspondence from CHC London check the Barcode Sticker on the front and see what letters are written by pen. On mine dated 20Mar 2010(Medical Req). it is handwritten B*C.

Here is a List of the docuemnts I attached with my experience.

1. Contarct (Current/Past). Appointment Letters(Current/Past). Any letter of Payrise from HR. Letter from HR confirming your Salary/Wages.

2. All P45s and P60s (These are from the Inland Revenue in the UK your job leaving tax proof)

3. Payslips for the last 12 Months.

4. References from current and previous employers and work colleagues. ( As many from the past)

5. Addresses and contact details for all the employers ( Past and present)

6. Any certificates, Training documents and awards.( In employment)

You need to arrange for as much proof as possible. Your contarct is a must (if you have one) send the copies. Also references from your work colleagues plays very important role. Do talk to them tell them why you need it, CHC will never contact your work colleagues but they appreciate that you try to make your application as authentic as possible.

I am bit fortunate that I have worked with two employers for very long (5 Years Each). in the initial stages I worked with two Employers for 2 Years Each. I phoned from UK to my previous employers what to expect from CHC. Luckily only my current employer recvd verification mail, as I have been working here for 5 Years, they didn't go down to India to verify me( No one said that they recvd anything from chc).

Moreover all my documents were very genuine, these people have vast experience and know how to catch someone who is fiddling with the papers or figures.

Are still working in that company when your employer got an e-mail? I think if any one state that they are still working in xyz company then VO will call and check i hope. I too worked in london as assistant manager for 1 year but they didn't got any call and till now any of my employer either in london or in india didn't got any verification call. I donno how they pic the application for cross checking.

I have received medical request form with a bar code sticker but nothing was written on that it has just two pen tick marks to appear for medicals and send RPRF DD thats all..

IF they haven't checked on you then consider it to br lucky. Yes I am still working in the same company. If you got the medicals, usually that means you will not be called for an interview. Are those tick marks on the barcode? maybe VO have different codes for themselves.

I am as anxious as u after sending medicals to London, coz i know London is slow. so, let's share our timelines here so that we can assume when we can receive PPR or at least some update from London CHC and can relax a bit.

Applied from UK to the London office in September 2007, got document request in February 2010, where I was told I was selected to be dealt with by Ottawa to help the London backlog. I sent my documents to Ottawa and then got medical request last month asking me to send medicals to London. I did that las 30 July... anyone in similar situation? How long does it take for passport request? How do you get notified for passport request? email or letter?

Why am asking this is that my one month vacation is due next week. Whether I should wait for medicals or not?

Hi

I think its difficult to send pp from one country 2 other but check with fedex courier service. when u r moving or changing ur residence address u should inform immigration office. what is ur present address showing in e-cas. If they want send any documents they will send it to the address shown in e-cas and even if u had send ur pp from india after issuing visa they will send to the same address on e-cas. So becareful with the documents and pp always. All the best

Today i went to DHL local branch in india they told me that they will accept PP as well if we have got a letter from embassy(special case) to send to other countries.
