HOW WELL SAID!!! YOU ARE COMPLETELY RIGHT!!! But anyway, it is difficult to wait, wait and wait!!!

Not yet. What about you, shibleebd? Any progress on your side?

Just want to share my own feelings with everyone - that this last stage of immigration is probably the most testing, because we're almost there! I'm sure a lot of us, like me, are holding back on starting new exciting jobs, holding back on resigning from current frustrating ones, not making any long-term or major investments, etc.

From all that I have learned, staying positive and enjoying your life during this waiting process is very important! Making yourself feel good by doing little things (researching housing in Canada, finding a bank that you like, and so on) will put you in the right energy. Don't spend every waking moment, worried about what if this happens, or what if that happens... HAVE FAITH and BELIEVE that everything will fall into place perfectly.

I wish all of you the BEST, BEST, BEST of luck. God bless and hope to hear some good news from everyone! Once again, enjoy life while you're waiting. Don't worry, don't fear!

i think u all know by now that a new occupation list has been announced which is effective immediately. here is the link:

1. http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/department/media/releases/2010/2010-06-26.asp

2. http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/skilled/apply-who-instructions.asp

the gist is:

1. this list will affect those who has applied on/ after 26 June, 2010
2. each year only 1,000 application from each occupation from all countries will be accepted for processing
3. each year only 20,000 applictions in total from all these occupations from all countries will be accepted for processing
4. this 20,000 applications does not include AEOs

hopefully not. in pen & paper, for us it will not make any affect but in practice, i don't know---i saw some members getting refused because the visa officer made stupid mistakes. i know urs & mine NOC is not in the new NOC list. keeping my fingers crossed until we get the maple leaf.
