Medicals Process: New Delhi Applicants - Thanks Accounts

Booked the test with Dr. Rajiv Khosla for next week. Let us see. I hope everything goes smooth.

rocky its great news! at last you got your medical. congratulations!!!
i got my tests done from Dr. Rajiv Khosla. he is very friendly, but its a bit embarrassing process as he will strip you fully and then check..also you will have to run around that day, as he does not have xray machine- he will ask you to go to a hospital in CP for x-ray and a hospital in Jorbagh near his clinic for blood and urine tests...
the good thing is you can call his sectary the next day and ask if you can send ur passports to chc, if she says yes it means u have cleared the tests..
best of luck , will u attend the employment readiness prog in karol bagh?
ps: dont drink too much water before test as it will reflect in ur urine report and a repeat test can be asked for.... also there is a way to see ur reports online blood and urine...that relieved me a lot to see the report and consulting my family dr.

she will take only 2 pictures and no negetives r required...
do carry discharge summary of any operations u have gone through, or diseases like tb, jaundice etc.
he will check ur body for marks specially stitches , so better to tell him everything in advance...

the hospital he will send u to for blood and urine tests will give u a reciept, note the receipt no. and u can check ur reports on drlalpathlabs website using that number.

Hi,

Got my medicals done on 16th Feb. It was a simple process. Will be sending the passport soon. Hope the maple leave is stamped soon. Waited long.
New Delhi Medical Break up
1400INR Doc Fee
500 Blood and Urine
300 X Ray.

Do carry original passport for verification

This is for people going for medical at Jor Bagh

Went to Rajiv Khosla in Jor Bagh New Delhi. The secretory is helpful will see the letters and take only two pictures and will see original passport for verification. Then ask you to go for urine and blood near her clinic only at Dr Lal path labs cost 500INR. It 2 min walk, she will ask you to drink 3-4 glasses of water if not you do it yourself. Then she will also tell you when to come back to get the physical check up done. The doctor will ask you about your medical history any operations, illness bla bla.. Then will ask you to take of shoes and measure height and weight. Then will ask you to take of your clothes and stay in underwear only. Will ask you to lie down will check BP, chest, heart beat, joints, eye sight, and then will ask you to strip of the under wear for 2-3 seconds and physical done. Then ask for 1400INR. The secretory will ask to go for X-Ray at Kasturbha Gandhi road and there you have to present the slip which the secy will give you at the reception of xray labh and then deposit 300INR at cash counter and then he will call you name for xray and then guy there will click your digital picture for xray and that is it medicals done. The secy will tell you when to call her and ask when can you send your passport to embassy.

The process is easy and they are very co operative.

For people who get there urine and blood via lal path labs, New Delhi they can interpret the result using the information below:-
Glucose: negative (quantitative less than 130 mg/day or 30 mg/dL).
Bilirubin: negative (quantitative less than 0.02 mg/dL).
Ketones: negative (quantitative 0.5–3.0 mg/dL).
pH: 5.0–8.0.
Protein: negative (quantitative 15–150 mg/day, less than 10 mg/dL).
Blood: negative.
Nitrite: negative.
Specific gravity: 1.015–1.025.
Urobilinogen: 0–2 Ehrlich units (quantitative 0.3–1.0 Ehrlich units).
Leukocyte esterase: negative.
Red blood cells: 0–2 per high power field.
White blood cells: 0–5 per high power field (0–10 per high power field for some standardized systems).
