Hi to all,

I´m from Mexico and have the PR in the United States. I will send my appllication for PR to Buffalo but I've heard that the medicals are more expensive in US than in Mexico. Can I have my medicals done in Mexico if I make my application in Buffalo?
Can anyone help me?

Thanks

Hola Jose

depending where do you live, if you live in Texas for instance, Monterrey is the closer city to take the medicals, the cost for one person is aprox. 200 dollars, I did mine and my family there I paid $5,500 pesos for a family of 4 (aprox, 500 dollars)

Saludos

Hi,

I would like to ask you from Mexico do you know is it true that SW applicant doesn't need to provide CIC with Police Clearance from Mexico?

Thanks in advance

Yes, it's true. Here's the link:

Hi there

please take a look on the full context, Mexicans are not required ''PRIOR'' to submision, but eventually it will be required by the Canadian Consulate in Mexico.

I am Mexican and I was asked for the Mexican police (PGR) certificate along with the Medicals and FBI, So it was long time after my application.

Here you are a transcript from the web...

Do I need to provide a police certificate when applying for permanent residence?
No.

How or where do I obtain one?
Federal Mexican Police certificates are not available prior to submission of an application. The visa office receiving the application will advise applicants regarding how to complete this requirement. In some instances, a state certificate will be required by the Canadian visa office.

So, if i got it right, you didn't provide them with Mexican Police Clearance in the moment of initial application in Buffalo?

Thanks

Hi Iwi

it is right, I did not send any police certificates on my initial application, but I applied on the old process. I am not sure about the new peocess application requirements. (I was asked to send my Mexican police and FBI's about a year and a half year after my IA)
