Medicals for FSW done and now got medical request for CEC ???

I have done my medicals for FSW class and now I got request for medicals for my CEC.What do I do now ?? I spoke to my designated doctor whoo did my medicals for FSW and she says the medical results are valid for 1 year...but would that be a problem as the file numbers are different ???

Plz tell me ...I am very concerned about my CEC file as it will be faster than FSW file and dont want to delay it or take risk ....anyone in the same boat ??

No, that is not a problem. Your DMP just has to report the same medicals using your CEC file number and they will re-assigned the medicals to that file. That's what my DMP did and I got the passport request one week later. You are close very close to the end my friend.

Really...coz my DMP said I had to inform Consulate General of Canada that it has been done under another file number and they can access the results...she does not have to giv me a letter...they have to just punch in my UCI number and they can access the results.

Can you share ur timeline for CEC...coz I was told it will still take 8-10 weeks to get Passport request...also do they ask for Right of landing fees and after paying those fees I get the passsport request...??? Do let me know!!

Do as your DMP says and check e-cas regularly. From what I've seen on the forum, people receive the request for landing fees & passport together. Every case is unique, so it may take 8-10wks or less or more so relax and wait.

Hi ,

I applied for FSW in April 2010 and applied for CEC in OCT 2012 .
I did upfront medicals and sent the original FORM IMM1017 B (DMP asked me to send this ) to Ottawa 10 days ago. I put the file number of my CEC
as CEC is suppose to move faster than FSW .

Surprisingly 2 days after they received my medical FORM I received a standard email to get my Medicals Exams and Pay RPRF fees for the FSW Application.
I am not sure if the medical request I received has anything to do with Medical form IMM 1017B which we sent .

Can anybody help with some pointers on what needs to be done . Should we send scanned copies of our Medical Form IMM 1017B Or should we talk to the DMP?
