MEDICALS DONE IN LONDON AWAITING ECAS TO UPDATE 'MEDICAL RECEIVED' COLOMBO VO

I DID MY MEDICALS IN LONDON ON 4TH MAY 2013 AND IT WAS DELIVERED TO LVO ON 13TH MAY 2013 AS PER STANDARD PROCEDURE. MY VISA OFFICE IS COLOMBO. MY ECAS HAS STILL NOT BEEN UPDATED TO MEDICALS RECEIVED. HAS BEEN ANYBODY EXPERIENCED SIMILAR SITUATION.PLEASE SHARE TIME LINE.

I completed medicals for a family of 4 on the 10th may, no update for me either. London VO are very busy and to add to this, the Canadian Prime minister is visiting the London VO, so a little bit of a delay.

r u in London and ur visa office is Colombo/New Delhi?....
Then, how will u submit ur passports to New Delhi for stamping?

Hi live in Africa. I had travelled to London to do medicals as i was not getting appointments to do the test here. My visa office is NDVO and Colombo is doing the processing of my application. I will have to travel to India to submit my passport.

In that case, u will have to remain there till u get ur passport back and as per trends, NDVO keeps the passport for months before returning back to the applicant....

Let us see! But what i have seen is that those who received RPRF,MEDICALS,ADDITIONAL DOCUMENTS & PPR from NDVO are taking time due the Background checks being done on their cases. I think those whose cases are processed are done by colombo it will be faster.since colombo will complete the rest of the process minus PPR then send to NDVO for PPR and visa issuing.
