I came across with this handbook for panel doctors prepared by cic.... might have some useful info in it....

put www infront though...

cic.gc.ca/english/department/partner/pp/pdf/handbook-extract.pdf

I found that link too sometime ago and it serves as a good guide for the PPs. It includes the standard ailments but not what we are looking for in the post.

Thanks Ezgi84 !

Reading this makes me anxious.. I hope they wont find something that I had no clue about it.

You are very welcome, I thought it might have some valuable info for some people... I am also getting nervous about this whole medical exam thing... I hope it will be a piece of cake for all of us though ;)

For this very reason, I am skipping it.

I sincerely wish that they come up with a creative enforceable way to make people pay their own expenses until cured if at all they find anything during PR medical exam for excessive demand condition. So much time, effort, money and sweat are behind each and every application that crosses the cutoff score.

How much is the exam anyway? and is there an extra charge for follow up tests if needed, or are these included in the original payment?

Does a history of depression make an applicant inadmissible? I saw is marked as a grade B IME ... And what about polycystic ovarian syndrome? Urgent please

I am sorry! Dont think you even got an answer to your question.. sorry for spamming your thread ::)

Depends on the PP. £300 in London, Rs. 4000 in Mumbai

thanks for the info. did you have any pcos related tests that are not usually done?

I suffered from acute disseminated encephalomyelitis in 2016. Because of this disease, i went into coma for a week and got paralysed. After 1 month of physiotherapy i started to walk and back to normal. I have been working for past 18 months. I am not on any medication for past 18 months as well. Do let me know will this hamper my express entry application?

We are not in the pool yet. My wife has PCOS and that is how I am aware of the issue. I would like to know if this could cause an issue of going over the threshold.

My wife says she doesnt have the problem of blood in the urine unless it is during menstruation as snig mentioned. However, she has a medical prescription to help her ovulate regularly. This medicine is used for diabetics. Everytime my wife picks up her medicines from the pharmacy, she has to remind the pharmacy that she has to pay for her prescription. Diabetics in the UK have free prescription. My wife doesn't have diabetes and is not even close like pre diabetes. Sometime ago, kryt0n had posted a link of the cost of tablets and the cost of my wife's tablet costs a few dollars. The medication will surely not go over the threshold but we cant say what will happen next, whether we would need assisted reproduction or would need treatment for endocrines, diabetes, cardiovascular diseases or dermatological issues.

Now I am wondering whether to disclose or not. I want to disclose as it shouldn't amount to misrepresentation.

plz update
