Hello pls I need help. I did an upfront medical and recently upload the proof via webform. Checked my portal today and it said "we did not receive medical results". Is this okay and how soon will it be updated to received if this happens often?
When did you send the webform, it takes time for them to process it and to have things reflected on the portal. Did you send a copy of the medical or just proof you did the medical? Contact the Dr office that did the medical and ask them to submit the form again if you didn't submit a copy of it via the web form you sent.Hello pls I need help. Yes and yes, have patience, as I mentioned it takes time for the medical to show and it sounds like they are processing it, you need patience for that as well.Hello thanks for your reply. I did my medical since on the 18th of July and the doctor said it was sent to IRCC. I only sent the document last week on the 24th of august, then recently saw the update that the medical wasn't received on my portal. Should I be patient and does it mean they are processing my application
If you travel to Canada more than a month before your school program starts, you may not be allowed entry by CBSA. What would you do in the meantime? you cannot work before school starts, therefore you would just be spending money especially on rent if you don't have relatives to live with.Alright then, thank you for your help. I have another question if my course was deferred by a year, can I still travel to canada and stay for the year even though my course has already started the term
So, you did not get a deferral?Hello, what I actually mean is. My Institution has resumed already, will I be allowed into the country even though it has started and my Letter of Acceptance has also expired
The way you have told us your situation is confusing, you have to tell us the whole story if you want advice. Are you applying for your first SP? You will not get a SP with an expired LOA. As for coming to Canada a year before your intake I think the answer is no, as was already mentioned CBSA is going to ask you how you will support yourself for the year, you aren't allowed to work since your classes haven't started. Or is this all hyothetical questions you are asking?Hello, what I actually mean is. My Institution has resumed already, will I be allowed into the country even though it has started and my Letter of Acceptance has also expired
If you have a visitor visa then yes you MIGHT be allowed into the country based on that as being a visitor but as I said they will not give you a SP with an expired LOA, did you advise IRCC you have a deferral?I got a deferral
You should do that asap. With proof of the deferral.Oh okay thanks for your help, I haven't informed IRCC about the deferral yet
You need to do that. Do you already have an approved TRV. You cannot enter on your study permit months before you start your studies. So if program starts next Fall then you enter around July. You mentioned changing DLIs for January so you will need to apply for a new study permit or upload new LOA for new DLI ASAP. However that may be too late once permit is issued. You cannot change DLIs without first studying at the school on your study permit once you are in Canada.Oh okay thanks for your help, I haven't informed IRCC about the deferral yet
