What happens if your medical test results have expired but your COPR is valid?

Can you land before your COPR expires even if the medicals have already expired?

Do they ask you to do re-medical exam? Or do they extend it?

I am assuming everyone's case is different but just wanted to know and be prepared.

Thanks!

If your medical test is older than 12 months, you will normally need a new test.

"How long your medical results are good for

Your medical exam results are valid for 12 months only. If you don’t come to Canada as a permanent resident within that time, you may need to have another exam."

That said, I am unsure what is happening during this time with COVID-19 etc but I am not aware of any changes to this.

Okay, Thank you!

Above test is copied from IRCC website.

Does anyone know:
1. What if the person is already in Canada on work permit etc. Does he/she still need to re-do medical, if medical expired before COPR is received OR after COPR but before PR card?

2. Is there a way to request medical extension, if the medical was done in Canada, and the person is already in Canada?

3. Also the above test is not very clear. Is the medical is valid for 12 months from date of medical test/ from date it was submitted by panel doctor OR from the date the person passed medical?
