ha ha haaaaa, funny no no, no effect, what they test are, tuberculosis, hiv, blood pressure, eye sight, etc, they dont test smoking

Hi,

I will suggest you avoid it for a while before the Medical test, it may show up in your urine test ,so be careful. They also ask probing questions.

Yes, it's a part of the medical.

However, they do not test for marijuana.

Hey i am due to take exam and i ended up smoking first time beginning of this month so i am wondering did you have any issues in your medical?

I smoke plenty of cigarettes. Medical passed too. Did not even leave ever.

Smoking pot or cigarettes wouldn't affect your medical in a way they don't directly test for opioids or nicotine else CIC would have signed consents for such specific test. These are not substance abuse test, but if you look at one of their form its requires you to disclose substance abuse history. Be mindful of that and additionally, if you smoke immediately prior to your test, it will temporarily reflect on your vitals such as BP etc so you are better off abstaining for few weeks. Hope it makes sense.
