HiThanks mate..one last question..who is the primary applicant in ur case?
HiThe app will not be approved without the x-ray.
HiThis information is very helpful to me and my spouse.
We're in a similar situation right now.
HiHi! What about the CRS points where they put on hold too? I'm pregnant and primary applicant, I will be applying for ITA soon but my birthday is in January and 5 points will be deducted
HiHi folks,
I'm the principal applicant and my wife is pregnant. She is a non-accompanying spouse. The expected date of completion of application is 15th August 2019. (ITA accepted and fee paid on 15th Feb 2019). X-ray was not done for my wife and a deferral letter which we got from the panel is also uploaded. The expected date of delivery is 1st October 2019.
1. Will, not doing an x-ray for a non-accompanying member become a problem?
2. Do IRCC delays the application till the birth of the baby which is 1.5 months from the expected date of application completion (who are not accompanying)?
HiThey should continue processing everything else.
HiHello friends,
We got 'pregnancy deferral letter' and has been advised to submit the same to the IRCC. May I please know how and where to send these papers? Is there any regular address or just online? So confused. I was looking on myCIC account to upload but couldn't find any link. Please advise
Stop posting the exact same thing. Post once and wait for an answer. The Panel Physician issues the deferral.Hi
how are you? we are in the same boat. can you please help us explain what is the pregnancy deferral letter, who can issue it and submit and where and what should be written in it? Please and thanks to you.
who provides this letter CIC panel physicians or your gynecologist, PLEAse??
Regards
Easy bro. just posting whoever gets it to first. you win hahaha. do we have to sign it or that panel physician do it by himself? please and thank you buddy.Stop posting the exact same thing. Post once and wait for an answer. The Panel Physician issues the deferral.

Hi, I am also the primary applicant and 1 month pregnant. I havent got my job offer yet but its on the process. May I ask if what kind of visa you’re wife applied? Im also worried that my job offer will be terminated if I informed them that I got pregnant.Hey there, sorry for the late response. We submitted the application without doing xray and we have also submitted the pregnancy deferral letter which we have received from the hospital. Our medical results where displayed as passed and then we got a letter from CIC saying that they put our application on hold as we were expecting a baby. They gave 1 month more from the Estimated delivery date for us to submit the passport, medical and birth certificate for my newborn born baby. We did it and submitted it. Even though they didn't ask for my wife's xray, we took that too before submitting as we didn't want to take that chance In the next 5 days we got COPR and now we have submitted our passports to VFS office for stamping
Are you not going to have to tell your potential employer sometime though or do you plan to show up and tell them which probably will not go down too well.Hi, I am also the primary applicant and 1 month pregnant. Of course I will, that is why i am here weighing the consequences and what to do.Are you not going to have to tell your potential employer sometime though or do you plan to show up and tell them which probably will not go down too well.
Assume you may be working as a PSW. What happens if you can’t work due to your pregnancy? Being a PSW is hard enough without being pregnant. I worry that you will not have worked enough to qualify for short term disability or disability payments if you either have problems with your pregnancy or the long hours on your feet and manual work of being a PSW pushes you into not being able to work. It doesn’t sound like you would be able to arrive in Canada until your mid-pregnancy at the earliest. Will you have the savings to live if you can’t work for multiple months? You will have to take time off after having a baby which will be unpaid if you don’t work over 600 hours because you won’t qualify for maternity benefits.Of course I will, that is why i am here weighing the consequences and what to do.
