Medical Test Expenses

my medicals are in a week, the doc said it will cost me $ 425
mine will be taking place in North Carolina, usa.
Any tip for medicals???

When did you send your documents to Buffalo( I believe thats where you sent them)? What NOC code you applied? Just wondeing and wanted to have a feelings about how long it takes to ge the medical request after sending the full application with documents to local CHC.

I guess in this forum we dont have much info about US applicants having done medicals under the new prcedure.

Can you answer my question regarding if the DMP contacts the GP or not? or moreprecisely did you signed any form that gave the DMP the permission to contact your GP?

Normal pracitise in UK is that you have to sign consent form to allow DMP to access your medical records from your GP.

I did recently in medical in Minnesota and it cost me 420*2 = 840 USD.

I am worrying that it might take too long time to get the medical request after submitting full app to Buffalo...

Hi,

My doc asked me to do lots of other tests (india) . I had to pay 3 times the normal charges .
But i got everything reimbursed from my current employer .


Reason : i had slightly high BP on the day of medical examination ( had high bp just fr 3 days !!!! )
So he asked me to do ECG, Treadmill EG, another thing like ecg .

We just took the medical documents which were sent by the Canadian High Commission to the Medical Centre, We did not sign any documents to access our local GP. If I remember correctly we just signed 2 documents one which for X-ray and the 2nd for other check ups. (I mean declaration) thats all.

Apart from all these - we handed passport size photos 2 each for adult and 1 each for the kids.
