Medical Test - Cost?

Can anyone tell me the approximate cost of the medical tests in the US? I'm sure it varies but I'd like to have an idea. Also, what exactly is involved? I have seen comments about X-rays and bloodwork?

It took $550 for me. Blood work and Urine test, Chest X-ray, BP..........
