hi everyone hope everyone is safe, i am an inland applicant got my ITA recently and done with my medicals upfront and after two weeks, today i got an email from IRCC MHB Surveillance stating that
The results of your immigration medical examination (IME) indicate that you are required to report to a provincial/territorial public health authority (P/T PHA), as you may have a medical condition considered to be one of public health significance in Canada requiring a medical follow-up referred to as surveillance.
but my question is i already did this whole process when i landed here (jan4th 2017) as a student and i do have all the records and it clearly shows that i have complied with the requirements for TB immigration medical surveillance through toronto public health and do i really need to do this whole process again to get my surveillance done ? will this effect my pr application like do i need to wait for this to be done to get my copr.. ... any leads would help me thank you

Yes , You have to report , this might delay the process.

I've tried twice now to find a primary care doctor. Admittedly, I haven't tried using the province's phone number that's supposed to help you do this, but I've tried other websites. I've called around to a couple dozen places only to be told that "I'm not fat enough" or "We don't take your gender" or "We aren't taking non-referrals" with the last one being the most common. Now, I wasn't calling EVERYBODY that the internet said had availability. I googled the person first, and often times reviews will come up, and if someone had particularity awful reviews, I didn't call them. I don't want a "crappy" doctor after all. I also didn't want to go to doctors that didn't give referrals, and a lot of reviews I read said that. I've already been to doctors for my problems in the US, if I say I need to see X type of doctor, I don't want to have to deal with your crap for 4 visits (even if they're free to me) until I see the doctor that can help me.

As a doctor they do need to assess whether you need to see a specialist. It is actually a sign of a competent doctor. Really depends on where you live and whether there is a known shortage of family doctors. If you aren’t in one of those areas or provinces you have to call more places. Calling around now is the best time because new doctors are setting up their practices in a July/August. Just read your other posts are you actually in Canada or do you live in the US?

Guys

Last year i went through this pathetic Medical surveillance process, and now after one year still I did not get my Pr and got a remedical request cause my medicals expired, my question is last year IRCC cleared me off and my medicals passed, now i have to do redo medicals, cause previous ones expired.
Medical surveillance process is pathetic and slow, at least 3 months file will be delayed.
I know I will be all clear - but am not sure of time they take to approve.
You guys can ask me any qs
Will be happy to answer .

Hi
Can you please share your experience. I am facing the same issue like you.
How did you proceed? Did you get your PR?
And after how long?
