Medical Submissions in Mar-Apr 2010

Hi all,
March 1, 2010: Medical done.
March 8, 2010: Medical sent to Ottawa.
March 18, 2010: Medical received by Ottawa, reviewed and sent to Detroit.
April 23, 2010: I sent email to Detroit to double check on whether my Medical has been received or not.
May 4, 2010: I received email from Detroit>>>The officer who is in charge of your case will not be in the office until May10,2010 and he will contact you as soon as soon as possible.
May 4, 2010: I replied.
May 9, 2010: Same email as of May 4, 2010.
May 11, 2010: Email from the officer>>> Dear Dr. Medical results have been received and to finalize your PRV procedure, we will contact you very soon to request you passport.
May 17, 2010: E-cas status changed from file has been transferred to Detroit to Medical results have been received.
Waiting for PPR...
I am a Quebec selected applicant.
Note: Contact is very good with Detroit.

Beauhoe,
My CHC is also Detroit. I was reading through your post and find that "March 18, 2010: Medical received by Ottawa, reviewed and sent to Detroit.". Can you let me know how to find if the Ottawa office has reviewed and sent to Detroit? I know from my DMP that my medicals were received in Ottawa on May 11th, but no idea how to track after that. What would you advice?

Hey gocanada963,
First I got the news from my DMP and I was happy but not sure so I investigated the case by calling directly Ottawa. A woman answered the phone and confirmed the information.

i submitted my medical on 14 th and they recieved on 23 of april 2010.last i was asked for an additional test (chest xray and sputum test)normally it takes 2 months to finish additional test.is it common to ask an additional test?i dont have any medical problem.when i finished my medical test the doctor siad there is no problem with my health.but last week i recievd a letter for an additional test.
pls help

Dear ALL,
I have received the medical forms for me and my family on 24th of May.
At the moment I am on my summer Vacation in Karachi, Pakistan although my medical forms was received in Qatar at my postal address as I have applied for permanent residence visa application from Qatar.

Will it be possible to perform the medical examinations here in Karachi instead of terminating my family vacation and make the medical from Qatar?

I need your kind advice in this situation.
Please reply at your earliest as the time limit is very near.

did they send u request for additional medical by post or by e-mail?

my medical is submitted in last week of march.. my status is still not changed so still waiting for passport request.
