when you applied visa and which mode you applied like paper or online ?
where you applied ?
 
I applied on 24th june from Lahore VfS still waiting for my medical call. Where are you checking your status ? Through mail or through cic ?
 
need help!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I applied for canadian student visa with upfront medical report on June 1st, 2016. Now embassy is again asking for medical with form IMM1017. Medical Health Unit refused to retake medical test. They say u must take up with the embassy as results have already been uploaded in the system.

anyone please guie what to do???
 
Seems like we have to wait and watch. I applied on paper based and wasnt able to link to my cic so I cant even see just have to check my mail ::)

(1) Go to this below listed link
http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/e-services/mycic.asp
(2) Click on continue to Gckey
(3) If You've already account created, login with your Username and Password otherwise Click on Sign up to go on next page and create your username, password and security questions.
(4) After creating my CIC account, click link application to this account.
(5) Then select category as Temporary residence and subcategory as Study Permit and extension.
(6) Then select Family name, given name and date of birth option.
(7) Fill your family name(surname), given name and date of birth as per Passport or Application form.
(8.) Next in applicant personal info panel fill Passport information only and DO NOT FILL CITY AND COUNTRY OF BIRTH.
(9) Enter your course start date given on your offer letter exact same as that.
(10) Enter course end date as on offer letter only month and year is given so enter that only don't select the date.
(11) Enter your DLI no. same as given on the offer letter.
(12) Next search for your application.
(13) Your application will be found and can be linked.
(14) You can get real time updates on your paper application online.
 
I think you should get your results pretty soon! Medical Tests get updated as passed only when the application is in last stage. But that's only in my experience.
 
Applied on paper application on June 1st. Linked with online account on July 22. For 4 days medical status shows passed as I have provided them upfront medical. Now status changes to "we need medical information" and they sent me IMM 1017. Health units refuses to take fresh medical since it is valid for 1 year. Now what???? Anyone going through this ordeal... pls reply soon
 
Well I didn't applied with an upfront medical so cant say anything since I'm still waiting for my medical call. I think you should try approaching vfs or cic on their phone lines they will guide you better. Or you can send a query to cic through your cic account by using query form.
 
Student visa applications from Pakistan are sent to which Canada Visa office, Islamabad or Abu Dhabi? Need this info so that query form could be directed to the same office.
