Hey so I am FSW outland from India. My medicals expired too 3 weeks ago. Status changed from "Passed" to "You do not need medical ...". This status changed happened 2 days after medicals expired. I had done my meds in April 2017 when i was unaccompanying on my spouse's PR application.

What does this mean? Has it been extended coz the last gcms i received in March'2018 did not show any extension. I was thinking of doing my medicals again. But some folks said u have to wait for cic to ask u to do it. just frustrated its taking so long. AOR - Dec 2017

Any views guys on this?

Thanks so much.

Hello,
How did you get these information?
Does it show on CIC profile?
And how much time does the security check take?
I submitted my application on june 27th, 2017 and I recently got the " you do not need the medical exam" update only.

From GCMS notes
I don't know, they still haven't started my security
OK

Mine too. Similar. But i dont ordered gcms notes. Mine expired on feb 2018 and changed from passed to you do not need...
I am inland pnp paper based.
Hey did get a re-do request for medical or did the status went back to passed on its own? Thanks

but mine is not expiring till December 2018. It's kinda beyond my understanding.
since you are an inland applicant, you medical validity is most likely to be extended.
