My wife had her interview on Wednesday, which went well and the IO told her to come back the next day to pick up her PR visa. He said all they had to do was check medical results. The next day she returned and was told that the medical results have not been uploaded to the computer and therefore they can't give her the PR visa. She was told to go back to her country and wait for word about the medical results. The thing is I had made an inquiry in January and at that time they had confirmed that the medical results had been received, and also when I looked on ECAS, there would periodically be a message that 'medical results have been received'. In hindsight now, I wonder why that message would appear and disappear depending on what days I applied.
Any advice? As she's flying back to her country Friday (tomorrow) at 3pm, I thought I'd call the High Commission in the morning to see if they can't locate these results. That way my wife could pick up her visa before leaving the country. Apart from the added waiting time and uncertainty, it seems crazy that she's going to have to fly back again just to pick up her visa (assuming they locate the medical results of course).
thanks for any help.
