I've had my medical today and, as expected my blood pressure was high.

Several readings were taken: 151/90, 140/102, 150/106. I thought I might have gotten away with my first reading as 90 is the lowest I've seen recently!

The doctor suggested I have my blood pressure taken again at my GP and, if within acceptable range, they could use that figure, however, I explained that my blood pressure has been high for the past 6 weeks since I started checking and, although I'm taking many steps to reduce it (no caffeine, alcohol, salt, etc), I am submitting my application now.

The doctor added a kidney check on my blood test, which I understand CIC often ask for with high BP.

If the additional check is ok, are CIC likely to ask for anything else? Cardiologist?

My blood pressure was high (170/104) during the exam and I am being referred to a cardiologist. Not sure what tests the cardiologists will do
