They will start processing your application, meaning CIO will finish the criminality/background check and transfer your file to CPC-Ottawa and then CPC will start doing your security check and once they are done with that and everything is okay then they will issue you a PPR. The average processing time after medical received is 5-6 months. Hope this helps !!!!

Thanx a lot it really helped you cleared my doubt so well thanx a lot. :)

Once your Ecas change to in process its a good idea to order GCMS notes every month to see what is going on with your application because the most important things on your PR application will start after your E-cas changes to in process and thats when the visa officer will be assigned to your application.

Whats GCMS notes how do we order them?

GCMS stands for 'Global Case Management System' and is adopted by CIC as a new computer system to maintain case history.GCMS notes are essentially all of the notes that CIC will have on your file (Including Visa officer notes)

There are a bunch of companies that offer services where you can order the notes from them at costs around $40 - yet it only costs either Free or $5 to get them from the governement (depending on the service you want)....

If you're currently residing in canada you can order them yourself for or you can have a friends/family member order them for you.

Go through the various options in the form and choose things that relate to immigration.

The notes will also tell you if you have passed the most important parts of the application i.e. Medical, background, security and eligiblity. You can order by visiting the below website.

Did you apply for your PR in april 2013 ? Thats way too long. Is your application in Ottwa KAUR ?

Yes my husband applied in April 2013 with me as dependant. U r right. Our visa office is new delhi. Do u have any idea of this delay? What is ur u timeline?

Hi, need a help ASAP, do they send separate medical forms for the dependent as well? Cause I received a medical form where they have only mentioned my name? Or they ony send for the main applicant? Pls clearify on the basis of ur experience. Will really appreciate...
