I have similar timeline. still the ecas shows my status as "Received". I hope we will get some update by end of April or so

same timeline as of me sent me the medical request oct.2011 and waiting for ppr,currently showing in process and addresss disappeared

nothing to do with changing the address. Congrats!!! why would you want to wait for landing?

Hi to everyone! I'm a newbie here. Share ko lang po story ko. I've been working here in Canada for more than two years now. Actually mag3years na po ako next month. I Applied my PR last Feb.2011 under the BC PNP which I got nominated. I've sent my application to Buffalo Visa Office. I tried checking the status of my application online (E-CAS). It was shown there that they received my Application the same month I send it to them. I got my medical request last Oct.2011 and made it done right away. Dec.2011 they sent me a medical request for my wife & kids in Philippines. Just this Feb.2012 which was my 1year since I last submitted my application, I checked it again(E-CAS) if there was any update w/ regards to my application and It says "Medical Results have Been Received" but there was no date given. It is more than 13months now of my application But I haven't got anything yet from the Visa Office. I tried to email buffalo to follow-up my status. Good thing they replied. But they only told me that my application is "IN PROCESS" and they didn't give any date when it will be completed. Kindly needed help from anyone here w/ the same experience. Share naman po your stories or if you could give some advices it would be better and will be highly appreciated. thanks po!

Hi, I have the similar experience.
I am a March 2011 applicant. It has been a year and no update from them or on the e-cas since last Aug. We emailed them, but I just got the generic reply. I got my GCMS notes back 2 days ago, medical exam was received in oct, but e-cas is still showing "Application received" , without any detail given regarding to the medical exams.

Here is our time line:
March 2011: Application received in Buffalo.
August 2011: AOR received , Medical exam were requested.
Sept 2011: Me and my husband medical exams were done. RCMP finger print (him) was submitted.
Oct 2011: Husband did the additional medical exam.

However our e-cas status is still showing application received. Feels like this long wait never end.................................Not knowing is the hardest part.

I am November 2010 applicant, and I sent an email to Catherine in Buffalo to inquire about the status of my applicatin, since it has been more than 16 months of waiting, so she answered me almost three weeks after.

Her answer wasa very clear and calming:

Good morning

Your file is with an officer for final review so it should not be much longer now before you receive a request for your passport.

i sent an email to cpp-ottawa yesterday, surprisely received a reply today. it as follow:

your file is being forwarded to buffalo. The next thing you hear from them should be a letter, in a few weeks time, asking you to pay to them the right of permanent residence fee and explaining procedures and documents required for visa issuance.

Hi...i am an April 2011 Applicant, but one of my friend living with me send his file in Mid Feb 2011. Last week he got an email from buffalo that his file has been transfered to seattle office...But this is also true that some March and April files are also being processed. GOD knows how they process these files...I am also waiting for mine...
