Everything should be written in detail on your PPR re: in-person service. Read and follow.

I'm copying the following portion from my PPR:

Option A: Submit your passports in person
Passports can be brought to our office at the following address:
Canadian Consulate General
30th floor
One HSBC Centre
Buffalo, NY
Passports may be brought in on Tuesday or Thursday between the hours of 8:00 am and 11:00 am. Bring this email when you come. Every effort will be made to have your passports available to be picked up between 1:30 and 3:00 pm the same day. You may send a representative with your passports. Your representative must have your written authorization and will be required to show photo identification. Please ensure that all passports requiring visas (i.e. the passport of the principal applicant and all accompanying dependants) are submitted at the same time.

For security reasons, the Canadian Consulate General limits access to the immigration waiting room and does not allow the entry of recording or transmitting devices into the waiting room or interview areas. This includes all types of cell phones and laptop computers.

So, be there around 7:30am. You will be asked to show your PP and your intention to visit the consulate at the lobby. The security will guide you to the elevator which will take you to the CIC floor. Line-up in front of the reception. The CIC receptionist will start collecting docs from the queue. You should have the following in your hand:
- Passport(s)
- PPR mail/email
- Photos
- RPRF draft (if required)
- Info about your eye colour & height (for family members if applicable)
When you submit everything they require, the receptionist will give you a numbered token and ask you to wait. You may wait 2~3 hours in the sitting area (washrooms available). They announce the token number in speaker. When your number is called (it won't be in order as you're there for immigration and don't require an interview although you'll see other applicants going into interview booths around the sitting lounge), go to the receptionist to collect your PP(s) & CoPR(s). She may tell you how to land on the border. Feel free to ask questions. And make sure everything (i.e. name, DOB etc.) is written correctly in both PP(s) and CoPR(s).

Good Luck!!!

One more question
When i had sent in my application to CIC in jan 2011, i had included a draft of $550. Was it not RPRF? If not, then what was it?

Generally, they don't. But you can carry your employment letter, few recent pay stubs, bank statement just in case for landing purpose.

$550/person is PR application fee.
$490/person is RPRF.
If you haven't paid it before, they must have asked for it before PPR or with PPR. If you can't find any request for RPRF; contact CIC-Buffalo for clarifications.

Thank you LORD. We received our passports back yesterday! :D :D :D

Los Angeles requested for 2 photograph per applicant and height/eye colour details for out passport request. Wondering how i have to provide the height/eye colour details? I am bit confused as email mentioned about the height/eye colour details under photograph section.

Appreciate any help.

Your driver license should indicate that. Fingerprint will give you eye color. Cheers!!!

Thanks Noormahal.. Just one more quick question: Did your status on eCas change after you received the email?
