"Medical Results have been recived" and after how many days you got ppr guys??

I was just checking greyhound.. it says $28 including return.. So does this bus takes me directly to the landing office.. Or do I still have to walk/drive from there?? Whihc one would u suggest among three port of entry u were talking about... whihc one is less driving hours..I mean in bus..

I assume either you or your wife don't possess US Visa and hence producing so much trouble. Well, I only once took bus from Windsor to Detroit for co-op work permit while I was student. I did flagpoling. It wasn't any coach service rather a local bus that goes to Detroit on daily basis. But I've friends who travel to NY from Toronto via Megabus or Train. As far I know, buses will take as many passengers and most of them won't have any issue crossing the border. So, you have to arrange with the bus driver that you will get off at the border (if you don't have US visa and therefore flagpoling). You should also fix a time with him for the next available bus for your return trip. A bus generally halts at the border for a limited time so that all passengers get done with the border officials. But if it takes considerably more time with some people, the bus would leave you there.

My advise to you would be taking a coach service upto Niagara Falls (Canada). And look for daily bus services from Niagara to Buffalo (like I said before from Windsor to Detroit). I'm sure they will have some choices. If you select this way to travel, you can easily come back after landing in a local bus (which would have more than 1 round trips every day). Besides, you can stay few hours/days at Niagara as well with your wife.

Out of the three bridges (Queenston-Lewiston, Peace & Rainbow), Rainbow is the businest one. Normally, buses go through here as well. If you were driving, I would for sure tell you to avoid it. But if you are taking public transport, that leaves you not many choices, doesn't it?

Its really so weird .They need more than 12 months to process application and meantime they issuing ppr with in 4-6 monts of other application.what they need to do to complete the process i can't understand.

Thnaks for the detailed message.. Yes I ma planning for bus transportation.. But my friend is there.. Most probably he will drive.. But in case...as a backup I will preapre for bus trip.. IN between u mentioned about niagara falls.. I assume I have to land first and then only she can land.. So probably I have to go there a day before she comes..and land and then wait for her.. I'm pretty confident that you don't have to land first. Confirm it to avoid unnecessary trips to border.

I am sorry if you find my joke offensive. I just want to make things relaxing a bit.

I don't know how Buffalo works and whether or not they follow the order of receipt (from recent phenomenon at Ottawa-CPP, they obviously don't), all I can say is to contact the right person once in a while to follow up. Reasonable complaints are helpful, too.

Why don't you think your background have something that trigger their attention longer than others? I am not saying you did something bad but maybe you've been to so many countries before coming to Canada and/or you have a similar name with somebody on their security list. Or maybe December is a large batch of applicants that was divided to some different IO and each one of them works at different paces. Eventually they will clear you and you will get PPR for sure.

Yea some one got the reply from catherine that " Please dont sent personal email to her regarding the status of the application. Please send it to buffalo general inbox" This is the reply for somebody who applied in October.. Probably many of us are senting from this forum..

Maybe you can try fill GCMS as TruongAn mention earlier to see what they are doing with your file so you have more ideas why you have to wait so long?
