Why don't you plan to visit India so that you can carry her passport with you and bring her over here with you? She can carry all her stuffs (4 x 23kg) ;D

When I called CIC call centre today I was told there is a 6 weeks wait in Nova Scotia.
Did you make your appointment yet ?

No.. But I heard office in victoria dont even need appointment.. they just have to walk in.. Hopefully same in Saskatoon...
also i heard we can land in the nearest international airport.. is tha ttrue???

I asked the lady from call centre if I can do walk in service, but she said no for all the locations.. but I do know for the fact some people have landed without any appointment.. case by case I guess. They won't encourage you to do that though.

You can land at international airports but some immigration offices aren't accessable by everyone.(only people who are entering Canada at that airport). Some immigration offices at airports are accessable by anyone. Unfortunately that is not an option for me... sign.

I was thinking the same thing...

I would probably go in friday or somethng if I still haven't heard from CIC office to set the day... and tell them that I haven't heard from anyone after requesting to land locally.. so wondered if I could set an appointment if I cant land then?

Only north portal. Border allow. Immigration landing
I done my landing on 7 th Jan 2012 on north portal saskchwan. It's few kilometer ahead from estavan
