Bufllao is very clear with the Law. Thats why the clause is " Your passports will usually be returned to you within 15 business days from the day we receive them."

I know one of my friend who received his passport with VISA after 28 working days.

thats true..My passport was sent October 31. to Detroit Office through their PO BOx in Windsor. They received it Nov. 03. My ECAS changed from In Process to Decision Made on October 21. They returned my passport with visa stamp on it Dec. 01. I received my passport in my mailbox Dec.o2. The Visa in my passport date was issued November 18.

Yes, criminal checking. They asked criminal checking for my spouse. not for me. But he was in Canada only for two months. So I didn't have to submit criminal checking. I just sent them a letter.

When did your medical report reach Ottawa? Did you get medical reminder after that?

Wierd, ottawa just ask for my fingerprint and im the principle applicant, and both i and my wife have been in canada for 5 years. they say they received my medical in the email with the fingerprint request. I did receive a medical reminder as well.

yeah, same day approval. me got the similar situation. ecas update was behind the real works.

I cant rest until I see passport sent back cuz I have a trip coming for Christmas.

Did you sent an email?? May be u should have kept a copy of your ticket in that.. so that they will make it faster..

i did email them, did show them my ticket. they told me i could have waited until after the trip to send pp. and they say they will try to get to passport issuance, but i must wait in visa issuance queue. i have no idea what that meant. i guess passport issuance is like decision made process, visa issuance queue is a printing job.

i don't know how things are going there. i hope they are excited about holidays in a positive way, that they will clear all pending works before christmas.

I was reading in another forum.. somebody who send in Dec 23/2010 to buffalo recieved it on jan 6... it all depends.. who know.s..
