Hi guys,

I am trying to have the whole picture of current processing time at Buffalo and I need your helps.

If your ecas status show "We started processing your application on MMDDYYYY", can you please put in the date Buffalo started processing AND the date you submitted your application.

This would help others to see how many months it currently take Buffalo to start looking at pending files.

Thanks a lot!
Hey Truengon
So far we didnt see anybody who submitted after january 14 getting PPR... (exception - Rossei)... So I would say after january 14 applicants they started working on october 2010 guys...

Hi

Can I communicate with the visa office in response to any document request by e-mail/fax ?

My application is transferred from Buffalo to CPP-O. Ottawa office e-mailed me to send a certified criminal record check for my spouse within 60 days if his stay in Canada is more than 6 months. They asked to address the correspondence to the address of the letter which is

Case Processing Pilot - Ottawa | Centre de Traitement Pilote - Ottawa - 45
Citizenship and Immigration Canada | Citoyenneté et Immigration Canada
219 Laurier Avenue West Ottawa ON K1A 1L1 | 219 avenue Laurier Ouest
7th Floor | 7ème étage, Section B
Ottawa ON K1A 1L1 Canada
Facsimile | Télécopieur 613-946-6059

E-mail I Courriel : OttPilot-immigration @ cic.gc.ca

My spouse didn't in Canada more than 2 months. So I wrote a letter stating his duration in Canada and fax it to Ottawa office (613-946-6059).

Now is this OK to send fax or I have to mail the letter. I have already sent e-mail to them. But didn't get any response. Also they transferred my file back to Buffalo office.

Thanks

Even processed at Ottawa , the head office is still Buffalo where visas are issued for people in Canada. Now how do they define 'processed in the order of receipt' where some 'luckier' files that got transferred to Ottawa received PPR way ahead of those who submitted long before them.

And their theory is "each case is unique". I really want to discuss this with Mr. Kenney!

Yea sent email... let us know...

But from what I understand.. They have different processing time for Ottawa & Buffalo.. eventhough buffalo eventually stamp the visa.... Now I feel like I should have applied in July instead of January.. ;D ;D ;D...

Somehow I knew that 'order of receipt' excuse was B.S. Another friend of mine who applied in April got PPR today and last week was another guy I knew who applied end of February and I am sure there are many others who got PPR and not on this forum. Yet there are many Nov, Dec, Jan applicants still waiting.

Chill man! they will cash that out...U have ur passports stamped for sure.
They usually collect all the RPRF's and cash all at once.. probably twice a month or so (just my guess). ...This is why its called money order...they can cash anytime... it holds a cash value unlike a cheque......money order doesnt bouce like cheques lol..
RElax my friend...
Play ur celebrations.

Did your April friend get transfered to Ottawa? What is his Ecas saying now? Maybe that would shed lights for my case. They email me back saying my file is in queue for assessment but Idk how long is the queue and how many queues are there?
