FYI, I noticed that two guys who are under CPP-Ottawa got their PPR today..
XXXXXXXXXXXX
HEY GUYS! Great news!!
I got an email stating:
"Processing of your application for permanent residence in Canada is almost complete."
And I got my PPR and RPRF request
they say I need to submit my passport within 15-30 days and I am also allowed to walk in the Consulate in Buffalo on Tueaday or Thursday morning.
My ECAS is STILL not updated....it still does notmention medicals received. (i'm a March applicant)
Now is it a good thing they are asking for PPR? doesn't that mean that the PR is approved?? or are there STILL chances of rejection??? ( im wondering that cuz of the first line of the email: Processing of your application for permanent residence in Canada is almost complete.)
Does anyone know if I go to Buffalo in person and manage to get my visa...can I LAND on the same day on my return to Canada???? Any help would be much appreciated.
Thanks and good luck to all

stanka said:I'm not sure that "medical results have been received" line means PPR is soon. At least not for CPP-Ottawa applicants. I got it in early October and received nothing. I also followed the forums and don't see anyone from CPP-Ottawa getting PPR. Ecas say my application is in process since the end of August.
btw. I'm under QSW category.
