Thanks for the advice Sask28
I sent the passports this morning through ups to detroit with a prepaid expresspost envelope from Windsor. Lets see how long it takes.
You're welcome Iamee. Hopefully it won't take more than three weeks to get your passport back. Mine took about three weeks to return to me.

Hey Sask28
Hope it takes less than 3 weeks, my work permit expires June 17th. The tracker says that Detroit recieved the package this morning. Did you track expresspost back, just to get an idea of how long they took to post back. I am hoping that now they do not process in person that more staff are free to deal with postal apps.

Hey guys. This a question for those of you who landed in Saskatoon.

Well, On Wednesday I called the 1-888 number to make an appointment to land at the Saskatoon CIC office. The operator asked me some question and took down the information and said that it had been sent to the office in Saskatoon, and that they would contact me to set an appointment. So far the Saskatoon office has not called me yet. So I want to know if any of you had this problem. How long does it take for them to call you to come in to complete the landing process? I would appreciate your help guys.
I live just two blocks from this office, but I am not sure if they would allow me to just walk in and complete the landing process.

I remember someone mentioning last year that he did the landing in the CIC office at saskatoon. He got the appointment in 1 week, so I think it should not be that long!

I think sinpguy did it early this year or late last year. You can search through his postings to view his experience with that.

My case is under Abudhabi V.O office but my spouse do not have Residence visa for Emirates. so therefore she did Medical examination from Karachi (International Migration Center) ... In the instructions of medical examination it was mentioned that our results should be send to London medical officer... but Pakistani Medical center said that all cases will be send to New Dehli we showed them all instructions but even than they said that they will send to New Dehli and from there the result will be forwarded to the required medical officer as mentioned .... My question is that has anybody experience the same situation like this or not? Please share your experience regarding medical examination out side the country of V.O. and Will this effect to our Time line ?

I called the calgary office and they said 4-6 weeks for an appointment after i receive my passports back, i have read somewhere that if your lucky and come up with a reason why you cant make it to the border you could get it. Crazy!!!!! governments are trying to make us more green. But here we have to fly or drive miles to get a piece of paper. Where is the logic in that when we could get it done locally.

Do you live in Calgary? How long would it take for you to get to the border? I went to complete the landing procedure today at the border and I am glad I did. It's a lot quicker, even if you have to spend several hours driving there. And the procedure for me took about 25 minutes to complete.
