you should put more info so at least we know and give some recommendations such as: where is processing office and other info. why you submit Passport and PCC (twice?). Does VO request you?

Yeah, which is the good thing. but the bad thing is this "In Progress" status hasn't changed since Nov 11/2011.. It is sooooo slow.

That's the longest part they took for my case. Be patient, they are checking means its progressing. Eventually, it will come. Stay cool!

Did you get PPR shortly after Catherine emailed you back? It's been always the same for other people, too I think Catherine can trigger her staff easier than us. But good thing she helped you

Anyway, processing time for visa issuance is about 3 weeks. If you can get your pp back and travel to India then you need to apply for travel document OR you don't land until you come back to Canada from India.

It is too early for you my friend. Since they already requested your medical, rest assured the case will be finalized in a year from the date of medical.

Sorry TRUONGAN with all my regards i think you are mistaken here, onlycdb will not wait for 1 year, he already submitted his passport, so he should receive the pp with visa issued within a month or so. They couldn't keep his pp for one year. onlycdb i suggest you wait till the first week of feb than send an inquiry.
